The Brexit campaign have gone too far – using their friends at the Sun to claim that the Queen favours leave shows that they are not patriotic at all.

The last thing the Queen would want is to appear to be endorsing either side; she has always kept herself clear of political controversy.
Even if you are a republican, could you justify using a 90 year old woman against her will to promote your arguments?
