Once again the Government would not allow its ministers to vote on any of the alternative options being discussed by Parliament last night. Once again, Ministers put their party before the public.

That’s why there was no majority for any one option. The true will of Parliament is being masked by a Government determined to get its own way, that’s not willing to compromise.

I can only hope and pray that the way forward becomes clear over the next couple of days.

One thing is for certain. When this whole sorry business is over and the dust has settled, this Conservative Party needs to be kicked out of power. They have continually put themselves before the country and need to pay the electoral price!
