Did you receive our February FOCUS newsletter? Have you received any FOCUS newsletter from us this month? If the answer to both those questions is ‘no’, the fault lies squarely at the door of Royal Mail.

Back in the depths of the 3rd lockdown when COVID-19 was at its peak, Willenhall Liberal Democrats followed Government advice and switched from delivering Focuses ourselves to engage with Royal Mail to deliver the next lot of Focuses for us. It was arguably the safest way for us to get our FOCUS newsletters through people’s doors. That was the theory anyway.

However, most people we know in Short Heath and Willenhall North have not received either of the Focuses that we have paid Royal Mail to deliver. I do know someone who received two of the same one which is bizarre!

Curiously enough, other mainstream parties appear to have been served well by Royal Mail. Their glossy, expensive leaflets have begun appearing all over the place as often happens this time of year when there’s an election in the offing. Funny that. Could the failure of Royal Mail to deliver our FOCUS be connected to politics somehow? I’ll let you decide…….

Just remember when you get your postal vote or on May 6th to go out and vote for your local Lib.Dem. councillors, Dan Barker in Short Heath and Ian Shires in Willenhall North. As so many people have not received our usual FOCUS newsletter, we are relying on our friends and supporters to spread the message……..we need your support to maintain our presence on Walsall Council and continue our work for Willenhall residents. The future is in your hands……
