Whilst out and about in Short Heath with Lib.Dem. campaigner Mohammed Yaqub, a resident brought to our attention the issue of drivers inappropriately parking on Bloxwich Road North.
This is one of Willenhall’s key roads and the main route for accessing Woodlands Academy School. I can well see how parking almost anywhere along this long stretch of road could cause hold-ups for passing motorists and for residents trying to get in or out of their drives. If motorists partially park on the pavement, that could cause an issue for pedestrians – especially if they have children in push-chairs.
What do you think? Has this been an issue for you? Have you felt the need to park along here because of insufficient parking elsewhere? Are you a resident in Bloxwich Road North, and would you object or support double-yellow lines outside your property?
We in Willenhall Liberal Democrats are interested to hear your views upon this. Please email them to Cllr.daniel.barker@walsall.gov.uk
Thanks,
Dan Barker, Liberal Democrat Councillor for Short Heath
