Out and about in Short Heath

by danielbarker on 16 April, 2019

If you haven’t seen me already, you may see me shortly ‘out and about’ in Short Heath alongside a man who is several inches taller than me.

I have and will be making several walks around the ward to introduce residents to Mohammed Yaqub who is hoping to become your new Liberal Democrat councillor at this year’s local elections on May 2nd.

If we don’t get round to knocking on your door, don’t be offended! Believe it or not, there are over 9,000 residents in Short Heath, so the chances of us speaking to everyone are very small.

Nevertheless, if Mr Yaqub is elected your councillor, I am sure you will get to know him. He is a very hard working gentleman who will make time to help everyone in Short Heath with any council-related issues they may have.

Of course, this will only happen if people vote for him, so spread the word – whether you’re voting by postal vote or in person on May 2nd – Yaqub is the best man for the job.

Not only will an extra Lib.Dem. councillor help our team to help you, but it may change the direction of Walsall Council. Politically Walsall is finely balanced and the chances are that if we win in Short Heath and Willenhall North – where myself and Cllr Shires are already councillors – we will hold the balance of power within the council chamber.

That can only be good for the people of Willenhall and Walsall. So wherever you live, please make the time to vote for us. Your vote could make all the difference.
