Knife Crime

West Midlands Police has also been running a programme in schools: The ‘Knives End Lives’ campaign was launched to raise people’s awareness of the consequences of carrying a weapon. Almost 50,000 school pupils were shown a hard-hitting presentation, designed to steer them away from crime and “deglamourise” gang culture.

Anyone with information on those carrying a knife should call police on 101. People who do not want to speak to officers directly can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The Knife Surrender Bin in Walsall is situated at Tesco’s (Town Centre) Littleton Street  WS28EQ
