Apologies, but I will be unable to see Short Heath residents as I usually do on the first Monday of each month this coming Monday, as I shall be attending the Full Council Meeting at Walsall Council House from 6pm until…..who knows!

Petitions on the Community Alarm Service and Streetly Police resources will be heard, along with a question on Brexit, recommendations from Walsall’s Cabinet regarding the Treasury Management mid-year position statement and the Council tax premium on empty properties, an item on members’ allowances plus three motions from councillors – more on these later!

One of the more interesting items on the agenda is the Walsall Mayoralty for 2019/20. Will Cllr Longhi continue to do a good Putin impression by holding on to office as he did last year……
