…..was very interesting. Three motions backed by the Liberal Democrats received cross-party support and were voted through……a Tory attempt to kick opposition members off the Health and Wellbeing Board was defeated……and, hidden amongst Conservative Cllr Adrian Andrew’s 20 page Regeneration report, was an official admission that;
‘The acquisition of the Saddlers Centre provides the Council with a real point of control to proactively support regeneration in the town centre and enhance the key gateways at Station Street, Park Street and Bradford Place.’
Strange, that’s not what he and his fellow Tory activists were telling voters during the recent local elections!
Very interesting indeed!
