New letters have gone out to those areas where the initial garden waste brown bins collection information was incorrect.

Brown bins collections restarted this week following the winter break and a number of irate residents called the Willenhall Lib Dem Focus Team about not having their bins emptied on the date that they had been given.

Last Monday, for instance, one side of Wood Lane was collected, the ten on the other side of the road were simply and literally left out in the cold. Other areas affected were Delamere Road and Cheniston Road, Wesley Road and Bradgate Close in Willenhall North.

Willenhall North Liberal Democrat Cllr Ian Shires related residents’ experiences to officers at Clean and Green which has culminated in new letters being issued.
