Friends of Willenhall Memorial Park SUMMER SUNDAY AFTERNOON BANDSTAND EVENTS

Sunday afternoon (weather permitting) 2pm to 4 pm with the Friends volunteer café open from 1 pm for tea and cake.
Bring something to sit on and enjoy a great afternoon of free entertainment from local artists and community groups.

• June 18th Walsall Studio School (first time at Willenhall Bandstand)
• June 25th Good Traditions Irish Band – from Bath Street Centre
• July 2nd Willenhall Singers –local choral group – join in with your favourites songs
• July 9th Willenhall Salvation Army 3 pm to 5 pm
• Also in the park on 9th Classic Transport Show (entry charge)
• July 16th Great Wyrley Community Band (first time at Willenhall Bandstand)
• July 23rd Open Mic – with Rock Band
• July 30th Soley Mourning (local band play at Slade Rooms and Robin 2)
• August 6th Help (Beatles Tribute Band)
• August 13th Duane Harker Young – local vocalist (Swing)
• August 20th Vicky Jayne – local vocalist (all covers)
• August 27th Willenhall Salvation Army 3 pm to 5pm
• September 3rd Lock Stock Music festival (small entry charge)

GET SUPER THIS SUMMER FUN RUN AND FESTIVAL BOOKING FORM

• On Sunday 1st July, One You Walsall and Walsall Leisure are hosting a 2km Super Hero themed Fun Run and Get Active Festival for all the family.
• Running alongside the Get Super This Summer Fun Run and Festival is the Big Bike Revival from Cycling UK.
• We therefore would like to invite partners along to promote their activities during this event so that we can all ensure the people of Walsall “Get Super This Summer”.

Date: Sunday 1st July 2018
Venue: Walsall Arboretum Extension (nearest carpark – Grange)
Time: Festival open 10:30-2:30pm
Set Up from 8am. No cars on site after 10am.
Fun Run takes place around the Festival and extension at 11:30am.
