Want to improve Community safety? Small Grants available through the Stronger Communities Fund

The Police and Crime Commissioner has launched a new Stronger Communities Fund.

The fund is for one-off grants of up to £2,000 to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, strengthen relationships with the police and empower /engage residents.

The Stronger Communities Fund replaces the previous OPCC Community Initiatives Fund (CIF).

To be successful, projects need to fulfil at least one of the following criteria:
•improving community safety;
•responding to a community need;
•promoting partnership working;
•building stronger communities;
•engaging or empowering young people;
•supporting victims of crime.

The closing date for applications is Friday 7 October 2016.
