More misery for residents and motorists in Short heath as burst pipe on the toucan crossing near the junction of Cornwall Gate with Lucknow Road sends cascades of water into the road.

Our eyes and ears in the area have been onto Severn Trent as low water pressure is affecting a large area. Severn Trent are supposed to be onto it (considering they have contractors working on a major upgrade in the area I’d be more than disappointed if they weren’t).

It looks like more temporary lights are needed to control traffic around the burst water main adding more to journey times in the area and creating more headaches for the bus operators using this route.
