Dear Member,

We are once again asking for Members who have used Walsall Healthcare services to come and talk to us about their experiences – good or bad – to help shape future improvements.

“In Your Shoes” workshops are being held throughout June, and the Trust Board, as well as staff, will be sitting down with patients and their families and carers to listen to their stories. Some of you may have been involved with these sessions before.

The Trust is working hard to achieve its aim of coming out of Special Measures within 12 months and these workshops are another important way in which feedback and ideas can be gathered.

Our Chief Executive Richard Kirby believes that the real-life accounts from the people who use our services are invaluable to our efforts to improve the care we provide.

We want to hear what’s good, what’s bad, and how we can best tackle any issues so that people are getting the best care we can provide. We want people to have an opportunity to talk directly to members of the Trust Board as well as staff to get their points across.

Members who take part can be assured that they will receive timely feedback on the issues raised across all workshops and the action that our teams will be taking in response.

It would also be worthwhile for us to receive your ideas and suggestions so we can work with you to bring about changes for the better.
