30th April 2015 – David Cameron said on Question Time he would not cut tax credits, a position that he took into the General Election on May 7th.

July 2015 – Osbourne anounces that the Government will get rid of tax credits

25th November 2015 – Osbourne anounces they have abandoned plans to cut tax credits.

Clearly 6 months is a VERY long time in politics, especially when it comes to the Tories tax and spend policies.
Can we REALLY trust them again on the economy? Their plan to get rid of the defecit within 5 years was a great success wasn’t it!
Can we REALLY believe that they have got their figures right this time?
Will the money they say they will use to maintain tax credits REALLY be available to be used in this way?
Can we ever trust anything they ever say again?
